Effective March 1, 2005, Upper Moreland School District will no longer accept unsolicited paper applications for teaching and certificated administrative positions. We are currently a member of the Pennsylvania Regional Education Applicant Program (PAREAP). All job vacancies will be posted through this website at www.pareap.net. All applicants interested in employment with the Upper Moreland School District must complete their application on www.pareap.net. This service is free to applicants and allows a large number of participating school districts in Pennsylvania to access your credentials. Applicants for certificated positions should view one or both of these websites on a regular basis for up to date job postings. If a job posting vacancy does not appear, it means that Upper Moreland School District is not soliciting applications at this time. E-mail applications will not be accepted. Application
Process: If you are a current Upper Moreland employee or are currently on our active substitute list, you must submit a written letter of interest to the Human Resources Department by the appropriate deadline. If you are an external applicant, please express your interest via www.pareap.net. Should you be selected for an interview, you will be contacted by a representative from Upper Moreland. Applicants are expected to bring a complete copy of their credentials to the interview. This includes a completed PA standard teaching application, a minimum of 3 letters of recommendation (including one from your immediate supervisor), copy of PA certification (or letter from college verifying all requirements have been fulfilled and the application is pending by our State), transcripts, Praxis results (if applicable) and current (Act 34 and 151) clearances. If clearances are in-process, copies of clearance applications and copies of money orders should be submitted for interview eligibility. A health examination and tuberculin testing issued within 12 months is required within 30 days of hire. EQUAL
